Eeeeeeee!!!!!  Okay, I am just back here on DA for a tiny bit and discovered that you posted this.  I did a full dance in my chair and glad you can't hear my very undignified squeak of delight.  
You read Branching Out... oohhh man I ran into a wall with the story.  I have it planned out, but am neck deep in Lord of the Rings right now.  So unless you want Legolas charging after Knives on Vash's behalf, I'm going to have to get out of my LOTR phase and back into Trigun.  I do intend to finish it, but the road to hell and all... urg.
